Sundog Training was founded over 6 years ago when two trainers found their ideals and mission to improve training and communication between handlers and their dogs aligned. Part of that dream and mission was to create programs that would make training, adventures, sports, and cooperative care accessible and fun for people and teams at every stage of learning and from all types of situations.

Troop Rugged Mutts is a fulfillment of part of that over all reaching mission as well as the culmination of testing and programs over a decade in the making.

Troop Rugged Mutts is a Sundog Training program that is run through our shop front where you can build skills and go on adventures at your pace. Unlike traditional title programs this is made specifically to offer 2 new patches a month that fall within different categories so you can explore new activities, revisit old activities, improve your habits and training skills through fun and critical thinking, and let you have a different experience with every dog you participate with.
